Two Defibrillators Now Installed and Operational in Wilby
As a result of a local initiative and support, donations and match funding from our local North Northants councillors, two defibrillators have been installed in the village. These are both on Main Road at opposite ends of the village: One near the Working Men's Club and the other at the Horseshoe pub. Both devices have been registered so should they be required in the event of an emergency the 999 operator will provide the caller with the location and access information. Training to use the device is not necessary because it 'talks' the operator through the entire process.
The Parish Council has assumed responsibilty for the continued upkeep of the devices and extends sincere thanks to all concerned.
