Update: Relocation of Wilby Svhool

At the beginning of the Summer Holidays, Wilby Primary School will begin their relocation to Glenvale Park.

Rowan Gate Primary School will be taking on the site from September 2024 with children joining from October. The site will offer 26 additional SEND (Special Educational Needs/Disabilities) places to reception and Year 1 children who have a primary need of Cognition and Learning /Communication and Interaction Difficulties (and may have Autistic Spectrum Disorder). Rowan Gate senior leaders have assessed the school and outdoor area and have deemed this appropriate for this cohort of children. Rowan Gate Primary School will have 3 classes of children at Wilby alongside the existing sites of Rowan Gate Wellingborough, Rowan Gate East and the 2 satellite sites of Rowan Gate Tennyson Road and Rowan Gate Stanton Cross. In addition to the 3 classrooms at Wilby. Other space in the building will be used to create a soft play room and sensory room, an area for small group or 1:1 support, a hygiene room and office space. Rowan Gate Primary School are excited to be able to work with the Local Authority to help create much needed additional capacity for children requiring specialist school support.
